Moments Alone

words are meaningless
it hurts,
it hurts like physical pain
but i know,
this should be about healing
and it’s about time
right now,
words are meaningless
sometimes i smile
and sometimes i joke
but then there are moments alone
and i begin to choke
but turn away from the problem
and face those who care for you
get your strength from there
right now,
words are meaningless
it hurts,
it hurts like physical pain
apologies i have given time and time again
my mistakes are many
and i see the pain and i see the difficulty
but somehow i must deserve this
right now,
word are meaningless and it hurts
