Point of View
when people post on social media
and they say –
that is so true!
the actual truth is –
that it’s just a point of view
it’s just –
confirmation of personal bias
but then, the unawareness of our society
it seems almost pious
have we swapped real life
and real life experiences
for a digital view
have we grappled with narratives
have we swallowed them and failed to chew
truth is personal –
so i am more than suspicious when people say
something on social media is true
to me,
it is only ever a point of view
