Rolled Back The Years

we rolled back the years
and found a point
that for sometime had not been near
we were young again
with all the lessons learned
but far from the pain
the type,
that left us clinging to depression
and then,
as we fell into a place
i remembered how i had felt
when i first saw your face
we climbed up our dreams
and their twisty spires
we found comfort in conversation
and that took us much higher
we rolled back the years
