You Believe What You Read In The Daily Mail

you believe what you read in the daily mail
without question,
and without fail
‘immigrants’, are running wild
terror plots and the ‘evil’ EU
you’re such a daily mail poster child
you believe every word that they write
don’t you?
it plays to your bias and sepia fears
a green green grass england
one you imagine existed in bygone years
but all it does is feed your ignorance
and it plays on your fears
it must be easier to read that paper
then spend time mopping up the tears
you believe what you read in the daily mail
without question,
and without fail
