Listen
you were zealous –
overbearing –
judgmental –
and always staring
you over analysed –
assumed –
you knew what was inside
tried to force the wrong key
did not actually listen to me
you blundered in –
tried to deny –
that you did not know where to begin
you suffocated the flame
before it had caught
and everyone else is to blame
yet, it was all in your hands
too proud though –
just to say that i do not understand
