Further Away Each Day

i am travelling further away each day
it is not personal
it’s just me
what was once a short distance
suddenly becomes a sea
i am travelling further away each day
on the boat that i made
i can float,
and only she knows how to save
i am what you take,
but i am also what you gave
that is what i like
because i am what i save
and i am what i give
but also i am how i live
i am travelling further away each day
