Different Places
across your eyes a life is reflected
the gentlest touch –
of a cold morning in steel grey
it can make you draw your breath in tight
and lead to a lonely day
across the sea is a friend
waiting for you and me
across the world are other worlds
so many planes
one which mean we can live again –
long after we have gone
across my hands,
are the paths i could follow
for all my faults
i will never seem hollow
across the universe there are different places
