Something I Must Do

there is something i must do
i know i must and i know i should
and the fact is,
i’ve got to be talking to you
the truth is such a weight
and i’m scared that it will crush me
hopefully i’m not already too late
because i need to tell you,
what exactly it is that i’m thinking
and i need to know is-
if you’re thinking exactly the same
because i’m feeling dragged down
and i’ve got to unload my thoughts –
before we hit the town
i know there is something i must do
i know i should be out there
i know i must and i will get talking to you
i need to find out how you feel
and it’s something i must do
