boy, don’t we grow up
take a deep breath
and find your voice
this is my life,
and it’s not multiple choice
boy, don’t we grow up
we aren’t like china dolls
trying to catch a little look
yet only catching colds
i make it a double
because the truth is about one third
and that’s why we get into trouble
