Fear of Rejection
your bully boy tactics –
only buys you a ticket
to a station with no buildings
and a place of no feeling
your endless demands
only enrage the fires of acceptance
and destroy all that is calm
your fear of rejection,
you fear of a past held in chains
only caused an unwelcome insertion
one that stormed –
that battlefield of your own brain
your lies and half truths
dredged up with the jibes
and the blank canvas with invisible ink
i no longer know what to think
the bits of people,
statues in the thin ice of your eyes
you have infinite tokens
but the internal mirror never lies
