The Truthful Moments
some people say
being drunk –
is just honesty with a slur
really,
it’s honesty with impaired speech
with feelings,
that perhaps finally reach
some people say
love is just lust that decided to stay
or that love –
is just lust that refuses to go away
that’s what some people say
