How Is Married Life?
how is married life?
you play the black and white wife
as he turns you into some kind of, ‘sexy’
a sea view
a place on the road
one of sunglasses and money
important comments
trying too hard to be clever
how is commitment?
is the play going well?
does everyone know their lines?
does everyone know the directions?
how is the world you created
the one that made originality –
suddenly so evaporate
and when a desire to create
becomes mated to a desire to escape
then as long as the script sings the tunes
any further truths will have to wait
how is married life?
