Baby
thinking about baby
how she –
forces me to reconsider
how she cradles my feelings
and how –
she makes them deliver
how she –
slays that ongoing shiver
thinking about baby
cannot stop the thoughts
cannot stop the emotions
running away together
stopping the rain
importing our own weather
