I Would Not Change You
i do not want to change you
only ever,
be an addition
because,
you leave me fully satisfied
with all the attention
that i have ever held
like when you hold me
and two minds meld
it’s then, that we learn to see –
in this difficult world
and you never take the space
but i am always aware of you
but none of it ever feels like a waste
i do not want to change you
only ever,
be an addition
to an extra special life
you leave me on top of this world
you make things seem right
