Dyslexic Imagination – Written Monday 9th October 2006 (Aged 31)

Dyslexic Imagination

i have always had what i describe as –
a dyslexic imagination
rich in word play –
and it seems, pun laden communication
but, do i feel odd or even out of place
do i search for blame
do i drown in tears from a sullen face
do i add a curse to my name
i have always had what i describe as –
a dyslexic imagination
but do i feel weird
do i paddle on my lilo,
marooned in a pool of fear
i have always had a dyslexic imagination
but i celebrate it,
yes, i often wonder about my sanity
and if i have a good grip on my bruises
but as i paint my reality
i know i have always had what i describe as –
a dyslexic imagination
