Imperfection Seems Perfect

i am rather proud of my quirky traits
of my odd behaviour
i am rather proud of who i am
and to hell with those who do not understand
i am rather proud of being upside down
of my unique view on the world
and to hell with those who stand in the cold
afraid of what they are
afraid of what to say
so afraid they have let life float away
i am rather proud that sometimes i get in a muddle
that i am over the top,
and i am happy to splash through the puddles
to hell with those who don’t join in with the band
who judge and condemn,
and never really understand
i am rather proud of who i am
my imperfections seem perfect
and if i am honest, i just don’t give a damn
