If I Told You

if i told you
that you was right
would you rush out to the cliffs
and start to fly your kite
i watch you now,
from a distance
still spinning around
even though there is no one there
they all left –
in a solid state ship some time ago
even he told you
that you had been wrong
and i listened to his version
like a travelling pipers song
if we all told you
that you were right
would you remove your hands from your eyes
and start to use your sigh
