Spineless – Written Wednesday 8th March 2006 (Aged 31)

Spineless

your rudeness about people
it knows no bounds
yet you snivel and grovel
with belly touching the ground
and as soon as they call you
you simper and snort
scared to be on your own
with no original thought
your rudeness about their worth
shows a troubled being
stung by years of hurt
it’s two faced cheek
the lying when challenged
capitulation like the weak
when closely examined
a spineless back,
a venomous mouth
one that likes to attack through digs

James Garratt – Wednesday 8th March 2006
