Forgiveness
i cannot find forgiveness in me
and i make,
and i cannot make any apologies for that
so judge me as you will
and when i look deep inside
there is nothing to tell
nothing will change
mistakes will not be learnt from
and i not prepared to just give
anyway,
why should i give again?
especially when there is nothing in return
i cannot find forgiveness in me
and i do not feel ashamed
the only thing i truly hope for
is to be forgetful
forgiveness can work for those asking for it
but not always for those giving it
forgiveness hides someone’s blushes
it legitimises a situation
and i cannot find forgiveness in me
forgiveness has to be earnt
