Living And Existing

people forget –
that there is a difference –
between living and existing
existence is living
with the shutters pulled down
but living,
is opening them up
and letting the sun flood in
some people –
know what it is like
to actually live
to feel so alive
and go beyond, ‘i exist’
there is a difference
between living and existing
between numbness
and ultimate feeling
