Heartache Is Heavy

i miss you
it has only been a few days
but i miss you so,
and i know that this time –
you may well go
i miss you
and i want you here
i am on the verge of tears
and heartache is heavy
i miss you
you smile, you hold, you hair
the catch that is not so cold
i am here
and it has only been a few days
but i miss you so
i guess it’s much more
than you will ever know
