People Look At Me
people look at me
friends do not say
hope sets me free
reality ties me to the bay
they know the truth
in my own,
hand built church
she is my roof
but as i start to lurch
happy endings become mute
what a mess
i pull in my emotions
to avoid becoming upset
i put in motion
all those secrets i kept
