Another Dead Famous Person (Another Lifelong Fan)

famous person dies
entertainer,
departs mortal land
suddenly,
everyone is a fan
has been –
since their height –
did not reach adult knee
suddenly,
people say –
they meant everything to me
watched –
their television programs –
all the time
share the same clips
the same –
well worn if well known bits
no personal touch
