Answers

the collective left –
what answer do they propose
especially when –
capitalism has no poetic justice
and such poor prose
we cling to capitalism though
hungry consumers,
wanting more
the failings of neoliberalism
left on the cutting room floor
we do not see –
that it is economics that undoes us
that it is that which let’s down
not the migrants,
whom many seem happy to watch drown
