Boy of Sixteen
i have been chasing dreams
since,
i was a boy of sixteen
at times –
i have been so close it hurts
and so close –
the taste is almost real
i have overtaken by slower people
but that’s the way it goes
i have taken quite a shine to my dreams
and i have been chasing them,
since i was a boy of sixteen
