Approval

you try to fit in
seek approval
or seek a reason for standing out
it’s what we all do
seeking a position that suits us best
we run around in life
mostly leaving a mess
we try to find something like a magic stone
a spiritual reason
something that does not leave us alone
you stand there
just as i do
you may pretend to care
in fact you probably do
you try to fit in
but all the time it’s just strange clues
ones which do not fit together
even with the correct glue
