Castles of Crag
i saw them,
the castles of crag
they rolled along –
my marzipan horizon
and my lemon cake sky
i saw a river of tears,
in the corners of their eyes
the castles of crag
lost deep to history
the kind of deepness
they just never teach
the castles of crag
cracked and ancient
and built of solid stone
reinforced with lives
once so alone
the halls of decadence
the place of fabrication
the well of sorrow
the way of reincarnation
i saw them,
the castles of crag
