Nightmare
i felt fear—
an icy hand
upon my shivering back.
i felt darkness,
but dared not look back.
i saw the strangest night:
it was endless,
scary,
and black.
i tried—
tried my hardest,
just to be the strongest,
in a world of nightmares.
but i am in awe of the being,
the one who always scares.
