Those Emotional Affairs

those emotional affairs
those people who fill gaps
the gaps that others should
but they never makes sense
and they never turn out well
either you are together
or you are not…
i would not accept it
and i would not except –
the, ‘love of my life’ –
to accept it either
if you have needs which –
need to be met
then clearly,
love is something barely kept
those emotional affairs
