Personal Museum – Written September 2023 (Aged 48)

Personal Museum

i step out of myself
rather than,
the shanty village
that is doused in fog
the casual runner
keeping a log
that’s what i try to do
our old life,
the one tucked away –
in the southwest
has moved on –
and told all of our stories
our memories,
remain in our personal museum
and i work hard,
to keep my connections
i step out of myself
rather than endless broadcasts
that just roll on
but never really fly past
completing word puzzles
that are far too hard
that is what i do do
