My Feelings Are Tidal

my feelings are tidal
internally,
they go viral
and if they were shapes –
they would be spirals
but,
my feelings are tidal
my hope,
that’s just bridal
internally,
anxiety always goes viral
and if hope was a shape –
it might be a downward spiral
but,
my feelings are tidal
and today,
as i move along,
i noticed that around me –
the tide is particularly strong
but then,
so much has come along,
right or wrong,
but,
if you were to price my emotions
they would go for a song
and if my words entered a competition
their chances would be strong
but,
my feelings are tidal
and as ever,
they fill up every estuary that i am
and as a person in a place,
i can only hope you understand
