Easy Going – Written September 2023 (Aged 48)

Easy Going

easy going
weights upon our minds
rivers of tension
estuary’s that bind
never mind,
you have the hands
to hold other hands
foreign lands,
and restaurants never open
brain ache,
but our needs have spoken
and how we need to give and take
go easy now
when you play with your hair
be friendly now,
when others are going spare
never mind,
there is a locksmith
and they are caught in a trap
there is a place we all wanted
but there is no going back
be lovely now,
hang up your flowers in a basket
that help them grow,
easy going
not so slow,
weights upon our minds
that cause hope to bow
