Reel to Reel
people look at me now
and they do not see my days gone by
the days,
when unemployment was my way
and the days,
when there was so much hurt inside
days when marsha broke my heart
and all those –
for whom i could not even start
people look at me now
do i dare say,
achievements have been heard earnt
but i am not sure i could tell you
what exactly i have learnt
i always try,
and try to articulate how it feels
but none of this life ever really makes sense
it always appears to be reel to reel
