Our Window of Life
there are some regrets,
and some wondering,
but with you,
that has never been something
and that has no malicious scope
no bitterness,
no lost hope,
maybe we exhausted our fuel
maybe i know it was the right decision
when we spoke that day
the day i ended the illusion
and we ended everything we had to say
i was playing a part
in something a bit like a play
but my beating heart –
was pulled in another way
but i have never thought
and i never think,
what if?
or what might have been
after all,
it was me that pulled you into my dream
but even now,
i never think of what might have been
