Personal Conspiracy Theories
someone, somewhere
said
that i could not,
but the actual time, the actual person
is something that has been forgotten.
however, i can still feel the noose
and the tightening of the knot.
someone, somewhere
said
i could not.
i cannot remember where or
the type or colour of the foundation bricks,
but something has stuck,
and i am haunted by its click.
all this personal junk
is just my own personal conspiracy theory,
which is so hard to debunk.
none of it is true,
yet i believe it somehow,
and it’s the shadow’s reasoned point of view.
someone, somewhere,
said
i could not,
and i am sure it was more than once.
i cannot remember which school it was
or if a family labelled me a dunce.
all i know is,
that this personal conspiracy theory
is so hard to debunk,
and i have to ask the question—
why is it in life that we are driven by such junk?
