Faith and Belief
People place faith,
belief,
and trust
into wicked demons.
They fudge
their hope,
and it never fails
to amaze me
that people
will continue to trust
the most obvious liars
and the most wicked demons —
the wicked demons
who do not have
their best interests
at heart.
They believe
that these people
stand for something —
something
in which they believe.
They never learn
that these people
care little
for their needs.
Yet,
without fail,
they shout and wail —
even as the rich
and powerful
hammer in the nails.
