you can climb slowly
and say a prayer tonight
you can see someone special
in your splendid flight

nothing seems to last

to my childhood past

who are you going to be next
listen to the latest marketed sound
is it garage, rave, rock or death metal
or are you house bound?

it seems that if there is a god
he or she better believe real good
because at the midnight church
the cross is made of money and never wood

i should have been a witch
with a magical cat

do you remember a time,
do you remember a time?
when everything was fairytale
dragon lore and magic prevailed

i am feeling rejected, by everything
they are watching t.v.
i am trying to join their dream
but they are not listening to me

they are leaving today
