Midnight Church
you should see the midnight church
where the sins of people become unsteady
and in the pews people start to lurch
they are unstable in a cradle
god’s house is corrupt
they have shepherds singing for money
just by jesus’ cradle
it is all about power and money
and it breeds corruption
for a lot of people,
it seems that if there is a god
he or she better believe real good
because at the midnight church
the cross is made of money and never wood
you cannot accuse me of blasphemy
i am just pointing out what you already know
but it is what you choose to ignore
because everyone is hiding the trouble
and in reality, not so scared of god’s law
