reaching out to those
who are part of you
but you just do not know
holding on,
and then not letting go

the world keeps on changing
making me smile
never staying sane
the world keeps on moving

i am sitting here tonight
and trying to sum up how i feel
to write down,
what you have given me
and now, what you mean

working hard just to jump on board
before you retire you are old
on this sort of culture –
i am not really sold
of reality, application forms are shorn

feelings found
never felt before
like beautiful treasure
from deepest ocean floor

some people go from a to z
just as some,
sleep easily in their beds
some go from a to b
some people need to go further

you so touched me,
more than –
i have ever been touched
so touched

i have learnt more about him
in the last week –
then i have learnt –
in my twenty eight years

someone once told me –
that though it rains
you will learn to live again

i searched through too many lovers
too many friends
too many beds
too many poems,
and too many threads
