Getting Out of Me – Written Monday 16th October 1995 (Aged 20)

getting out of me
learning in you
like a book
what a lot of information I took
but you never did mind
i caught you
but you were not easy to find
see me listening
i got a hook
see you just sitting there fishing
thought I would take a look
you were a little poetic
and preceded to write my book
getting out of me
it is the best thing
i can ever be
don’t you see?
it’s the same for you
if you want to be alive
what else can you do?
