everyone
expects you to be paired
to be on your own is deemed selfish
they demand that you share
friendships
take up all my care
and for now that is fine
after all i need them here
society
has its stock demands
but for now i look after me
a kind of personal call to arms
everyone
holds me and says, it is okay
that closeness goes straight in
what more can i say.
