These Days

these days
stretch out in front of us
i fear for you
but I know
it is what you do
we feel the weather
hang onto what we have
and try to keep it together
these days

these days 
are rainbows in our view
i wish you would tell me
how you really feel 
but i guess you need me this way
someone to steady the keel
we feel the time pass
hang onto what we have
and hope it lasts
these days
