you speak for other people
you label them
with sticky tags
and unwanted gifts
you decide on finery or rags
and tell them how to live
then you use motherhood
to give your half baked opinions
more credence
but the hidden cheap shots
spat with zealous deliverance
speak of an inner rot
and then you use your life
its seemingly normal appearance
as a bench mark for others
as a doting wife
but what you say and do
is never related to your own life
it’s a singular point of view
just black and white
with rationale shot through
your lofty views
are dispatched with all the ‘oh yea’
that you expect from town criers news
