Tinderbox

i have let someone go
well, in truth, they let me go
how much I really feel
now, they, will never know
to explain; would be,
an impossible feat
i think my words
just make them feel cheap
i have let someone go

someone, whom for me,
was such a big part
someone who had the tinder box
and who relit the spark
it is not as close as it was
and I guess it never can
i wonder if she will ever realise,
and truly understand
