how must our protest
look to parts of the world
who struggle to eat
people who are exploited
how must our first world problems
play out
i wonder if in all this
we are dealing with –
the collapse of the –
western world’s economic argument
the great neoliberal project
conservatism as the default setting
yet, mortality and ethics
have become a victim of sub letting
how much is all of this –
just a first world problem
in every literal sense
we ‘fucked’ over the rest for the world
and not it is our turn,
i wonder though as populism rampages
whether people will ever truly learn
