I Have Done Nothing Wrong

i have done nothing wrong
yet I receive the punishment
i have committed no crime
yet here I am,
paying some kind of fine
yet, I do not understand
i am going to walk away now
to a far off land
a place of learning
a place that I understand
i have done nothing wrong
yet I have to carry the can
why should I not scream and shout
why should I pay?
tell me what all this is about
i have always been honest
and apologised when I need to
how come you get off?
i have done nothing wrong
