Fantasy and Reality
i found out pretty soon
it was a case
of learning before believing
i had to be smart
and i realised fast
that fantasy is far better
than the actual reality
it seems an easy thing to say
but to me
that statement seems so far away
when i am always dreaming
and when, on the rare chance
i realise my dreams
i realise that is a reality
it isn’t half as good as the fantasy
that i was dreaming before
and then i am lost, on my own
looking around for something new
a new fantasy
that i can make come true
and it becomes reality
i will not know what to do
