i got out
had enough of the weekend
feeling down
needed a friend
i catch a bus
to get to you
when i come to journey’s end
i was still down
but felt better, because i had a friend
i will never forget you
you have got to know that
we have been through too much
most of which cannot be seen as fact
it is just the same for you
stay here in this world
i have had enough of the weekend
