She Really Cares

there is something wrong with the boy
he fell for his best friend
she does not know
his current girlfriend is really nice
but just not the same
fell for another girl
seems like nothing to gain
she is his best friend
do anything in the world for him
it is not a question of that
it is a question of feelings
and their meanings
they are together
till she is off into obscuring
somewhere far away
then maybe, just maybe
it is time for this boy to declare
to his best friend
that he more than cares
more than, he wants to hold her hand
it is a strange state of affairs
he cannot help the way he feels
she really cares
