Guilt and Sexuality

she holds those views
no doubt
because she feels a shame
and a guilt
about her own sexuality
of course,
what she said is vile
but how many people
have felt a shame
and guilt about their sexuality
of course,
she chooses a faith
that joyous catholicism
that does nothing
to promote,
but instead,
saddles her with shame and guilt
have we got compassion
or time
for these people
do we find in our hearts,
what they cannot find in theirs
